“When it came to our collaboration piece, Craig had a vision and really challenged me to step outside of my usual mindset to try something new. I will admit that I tried to be open minded and work toward his vision while also having to really fight my natural inclination. In the end, it is a piece that I’m really proud of.
“The Raven and the Crow” is our interpretation of the Aesop’s fable of the same name. When Craig initially showed me his photo, he explained that it was taken in Ireland and how the farmers run off the nuisance crows. I love ravens and the interaction between the crow and the raven in the fable fit perfectly.”
