Fiber Bombing At Mill Hill Park!
The Summer Fiber Arts Fest will be commemorated with a public yarn bombing in the heart of Downtown Trenton! Throughout the day, participants will install their fiber creations on the trees of Mill Hill park, alongside food and fiber craft vendors and live music for our Fiber Finale!
BSB Gallery is excited to announce, in partnership with the Trenton Downtown Association, we will be hosting our first public art project at Mill Hill Park, on Saturday, October 5th, 11:00am-5pm! We will take over the park with a fiber bombing, of yarn and fabric!
Rain Date: Saturday, October 6th, 11:00am-5pm
Once completed, the Fiber Bomb will be up and on display for 2 weeks for the Trenton community to enjoy!
What is Fiber Bombing?
Fiber Bombing is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colorful displays of knitted or crocheted or other fiber rather than paint or chalk. It is the action or activity of covering objects or structures in public places with decorative knitted or crocheted material, as a form of street art.
